About

I primarily work with the pediatric population for early intervention but also have experience with the geriatric population, and every age in between; my youngest patient was 6 months old and my oldest, 105 years old! In addition, I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, nursing homes, and in patient’s homes, providing one-on-one home care services.   I have extensive experience with clients who have  delayed expressive and/or receptive language skills, articulation, and fluency skills (stuttering), orofacial myofunctional disorders, as well as adults with dementia, neurological disorders, and those who have suffered a stroke.

During my nearly ten years of industry experience, I have collaborated with colleagues, patients and families from all over the world.  I understand the importance of designing and implementing individualized treatment plans to target speech, language and feeding goals.  I strive to educate family and caregivers on techniques and strategies to apply in the home and in the community which maximize the benefits of speech therapy.
